Amy Grant is an American singer-songwriter, born in 1960 in Augusta, Georgia and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. A central figure in contemporary Christian music who also crossed over into mainstream pop, she has won six Grammy Awards and sold more than 30 million albums, with career landmarks including Age to Age (1982), Lead Me On (1988) and Heart in Motion (1991), which produced the number-one single Baby Baby.
