ALO, short for Animal Liberation Orchestra, is a California rock and jam band that formed in Saratoga in 1989 and adopted its current name in 1998. The lineup is Zach Gill on keys, Steve Adams on bass, Dan Lebo Lebowitz on guitar and Ezra Lipp on drums. The band records for Jack Johnson's Brushfire Records and first reached a wider audience supporting Johnson's 2005 tour.
