Aliah Sheffield

Aliah Sheffield is an American soul and R&B singer-songwriter and pianist. Born in Newark, New Jersey, and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Sheffield studied film scoring at the Berklee College of Music before establishing her career in the New York metropolitan area. She gained widespread recognition when her poignant, socially conscious single 'Earth Is Ghetto' went viral online during the pandemic. Following the song's success, she signed with Def Jam Recordings and released her debut EP, These Songs Are For Anyone Sick of Earth, combining minimalist soul arrangements with introspective storytelling.
