Adam Ezra Group is a Boston-based folk-rock and Americana band led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Adam Ezra, who has fronted the group since the early 2000s. The current lineup is Corinna Smith on fiddle, Poche Ponce on bass and Alex Martin on drums. The band has remained independent for more than two decades, working outside major labels and building an audience through relentless touring that took it from bars and coffeehouses to sold-out theaters. Its recorded output includes the studio album Find a Way in 2019 and the ongoing Better Than Bootleg series of live albums; the fourth volume, also from 2019, draws on shows at Tupelo Music Hall in Derry, New Hampshire and Iron Smoke Music Hall in Fairport, New York. One album was co-produced with 163 of the band's fans, and Ezra spends a month each year playing living rooms across the country. During the pandemic he began the Gathering Series, a nightly livestream that ran 500 consecutive nights and has continued since. Roughly fifteen years ago he founded the nonprofit RallySound, which has supported more than a hundred causes and stages The Ramble, an annual donate-what-you-can festival held the Saturday before Labor Day weekend to fight veteran homelessness in New England; a recent edition raised over $151,000, and the 2026 festival on August 29 is the seventeenth. The band has been named Band of the Year, Americana Act of the Year and twice Song of the Year at the New England Music Awards, and has recorded with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee John Oates. Its current run of new material is presented under the Revelate banner.
