Acid Bath is a sludge metal band from Houma, Louisiana, formed in 1991 around vocalist Dax Riggs and guitarists Sammy Duet and Mike Sanchez. It released two albums, When the Kite String Pops (1994) and Paegan Terrorism Tactics (1996), broke up after bassist Audie Pitre died in 1997, and announced a reunion in 2024.
